Very helpful I love the information in this book. I have read many books in this (stretching/aging/posture) category. This one is the best so far. It goes into the route causes of the pain better than any I have read. The stretches have helped me already and the information on identifying habits that lead to pain has made things clear. I just wish there was a more cohesive chart or poster of the "10 minute routine" that would make it easier to follow and eliminate all the stopping and flipping from page to page all over the book until you get it down.Hope after all There is hope after all. This book really resonated with me. There are detailed explanations as to why out bodies develop stiff, tight muscles and tendons, forward head and everything else you can think of. Theo only complaint I have is, I wish all of the exercises had been put in one place. I tore out each section of exercises for each body zone so I wouldn't have to go thumbing through the book while I'm exercising. I started doing the exercises while I was reading the book!10-minute program is great! For a person over 50, with a few aches and pains, I recommend this book. The introduction about aging was eye-opening to me. Some of the things, described me to a tee. I think I am in pretty good shape, but the book described things that I'm feeling that can be the beginning of some problems. Now that I've read the book I've noticed some older people, my elder parents for instance, with rounded shoulders and curving backs, which can really make you look old. I’ve had some hip pain before and have done some stretching for it, but this book is quite complete, going over all the areas in the body. I have done most of the stretches before, but not exactly for the right area. This 10-minute program is great!
